The Parish council consists of seven elected councillors, five representing Granby and two representing Sutton. It is served by a part-time Parish Clerk who looks after the administration and affairs of the council. In addition to the usual responsibilities, the Parish Council also manages Granby village hall and the cemetery that is located between the two villages.

Parish Council meetings
The Parish Council meet monthly, with the exception of August, on the second Thursday at 7.30pm in the village hall. Members of the public are very welcome to attend the meetings. The agendas and minutes are diaplayed on the noticeboards in Granby and Sutton. An annual meeting is held in May each year when reports from the various village groups are received.
